I don't know about you, but I have one simple goal in life:
To get as close as possible to the person I have the potential to become.
Some moment will be my last, and I don't want the gap between who I could have been, and who I actually am to be too large.
That's why I train - to be my physical best.
That's why I get train my mindset almost every day - to be on top of my mental game.
That's why I created Mindset Rx'd - to serve and to grow.
That's why I climb mountains. They're the epitome of challenge. The mountains change me.
The closer you get to your potential, the more uncomfortable you will have to get if you want to grow.
Discomfort is going to come up from time to time.
In fact, finding something difficult is probably a sign you're on the right track.
If you're pushing hard in WODs, you're going to feel uncomfortable.
If you're consistently learning new techniques and confronting your weaknesses, it's going to suck.
And of course... when you're training your mindset, you're going to encounter all kinds of tough emotions, thoughts, and beliefs.
Go towards challenge.
Do not hide from discomfort.
EMBRACE HARDSHIP
